| Mr. Boone is a veteran teacher of the Escambia County School District. He taught Mathematics and Spanish classes at Escambia High School during his thirty-five year career, before retiring n 2005. Mr. Boone was elected to the School Board of Escambia County, Florida in November 2006 and re-elected to serve a second term in August 2010. He and his wife, Sharon, have been married forty-one years. Sharon worked for the State of Florida in the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, before retiring in 2004. They have two adult children, Kevin and Amy, who are both products of the Escambia County School District. Amy is married and the mother of their two grandchildren, Caylie and Noah. |
