The School Board of Escambia County, Florida, convened in Special Meeting at 5:00 p.m., in Room 131, at the J.E. Hall Educational Services Center, 30 East Texar Drive, Pensacola, Florida, with the following present:

Chairman: Dr. John DeWitt

Vice Chairman: Mrs. Cary Stidham

Board Members:

Mr. Gary L. Bergosh

Ms. Linda Finkelstein

Dr. Elmer Jenkins

School Board Attorney: Mr. Francisco M. Negron, Jr. (was not present)

Superintendent of Schools: Mr. Jim Paul

I. ADOPTION OF AGENDA

On motion by Mrs. Stidham, second by Dr. Jenkins, adoption of the agenda was unanimously approved.

II. REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS COLLABORATIVE BARGAINING ISSUES

Motion by Dr. Jenkins, second by Mrs. Stidham, to meet in Executive Session for the purpose of discussing collaborative bargaining issues, was unanimously approved.

(Note that Dr. John DeWitt, Mrs. Cary Stidham, Mr. Gary L. Bergosh, Ms. Linda Finkelstein, Dr. Elmer Jenkins, Mr. Jim Paul, Ms. Barbara Linker, Director of Budgeting, and Mr. Gene Pettis, Chief Negotiator, were in attendance at the Executive Session which immediately followed this meeting.)

III. ADJOURNMENT
