The School Board of Escambia County, Florida, convened in Special Meeting at 5:35 p.m., in the Board Room, at the Dr. Vernon McDaniel (Administration) Building, 215 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida, with the following present:

Chairman: Dr. John DeWitt  

Vice Chairman: Mrs. Cary Stidham

Board Members: Mr. Gary L. Bergosh

Ms. Linda Finkelstein

Dr. Elmer Jenkins

School Board Attorney: Mr. Francisco M. Negron, Jr.

Superintendent of Schools: Mr. Jim Paul

I. CALL TO ORDER

Dr. DeWitt called the Special Meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.

II. ADOPTION OF AGENDA

On motion by Mrs. Stidham, second by Ms. Finkelstein, adoption of the agenda was unanimously approved. 

III. REVIEW OF SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS’ RESIDENCE AREAS

Maps outlining the voting district boundaries for School Board Members, were provided to each Board Member prior to the Special Meeting by Ms. Bonnie Jones, Supervisor of Elections.  Motion was made by Dr. Jenkins, seconded by Ms. Finkelstein, to adopt the voting district boundaries for School Board Members as outlined on the maps provided.  Dr. DeWitt called for a public hearing, however there were no speakers.  Motion was approved unanimously. 

IV. ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
