The School Board of Escambia County, Florida, opened a Special Meeting at 4:00 p.m., in the Superintendent’s Conference Room, at the Dr. Vernon McDaniel (Administration) Building, 215 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida, with the following present:

Chairman: Dr. John DeWitt                            

Vice Chairman: Ms. Linda Finkelstein

Board Members:  Mr. Gary L. Bergosh

Mrs. Cary Stidham

Dr. Elmer Jenkins

School Board Attorney:  Mr. Francisco M. Negron, Jr.

Superintendent of Schools: Mr. Jim Paul (was not present)

Those present convened in Executive Session for the following purposes:

1)  Discussion regarding litigation in the case of John Reeves v. Escambia County School District, Case No. 33 390 00302 02.

2) Discussion regarding collaborative bargaining issues.
