The School Board of Escambia County, Florida, opened a Special Meeting at 9:45 a.m., in the Superintendent’s Conference Room, at the Dr. Vernon McDaniel (Administration) Building, 215 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida, with the following present:

Board Members:         Mr. Gary L. Bergosh

                                  Mrs. Cary Stidham

                                  Dr. Elmer Jenkins

School Board Attorney:    Mr. Francisco M. Negron, Jr.

Superintendent of Schools:  Mr. Jim Paul

Those present convened in Executive Session for the purpose of discussion regarding settlement negotiations or strategy related to litigation expenditures in the case of Escambia Education Association and Robert K. Sites, III, v. School Board of Escambia County, Florida, Case No. 02-0894-CA.
