Prekindergarten
The Escambia County School District has a 25 year history of providing a
high quality preschool program for children residing in Title I school
attendance areas who are four years of age on or before September 1st.
The District's pre-k program collaborates with the State's Voluntary Prekindergarten Program,
Title I, Exceptional Student Education and Head Start to serve 468 children in
26 classrooms at 13 elementary schools. Children may participate in the 540-hour
pre-k program during the school year or the 300-hour Summer VPK program. |
