Cooperative Education Clubs of Florida

The purpose of CTE Cooperative Education/OJT programs is to provide students with occupational skills through employment related instruction and paid, on-the-job training supervised by an employer and teacher/coordinator. This method of delivery enables students to develop a variety of workplace competencies and transferable skills, as well as, develop students who will be motivated, self-disciplined individuals; caring, responsible, life-long learners; flexible and committed to technical competence; and skillful at social interactions, leadership, and problem-solving. CTE Cooperative Education/OJT are work readiness programs; thus, implementing Florida RTW is appropriate for program and course goals.
