TERRI NOELL

Hi, I am Terri Noell, Art Educator at West Pensacola Elementary! This is my 5th year at the Greatest School in Florida! I did most of my Fine Art Studies at FSU, received a B.A. in Fine Arts at Columbus State College. In 2006, I received a Masters Degree in Education at UWF. I have been teaching part time for more than 20 years to students from 2 to 90 years old, from pre-school to college and retirees! I love sharing my love of the Arts with everyone!

At West Pensacola, we have a unique Art Studio for the students with a program called TAB ( Teaching for Artistic Behavior)- Choice based. In our program, the students are taught to be artists, designers,developers. They conceive, design and create their projects from start to finish. Each class period, they contract for a certain studio,set it up, create ,clean it up and write an "Artist Statement" about what they made, why they made it, what materials they used and then an imaginary story about their project! The students are wonderful with this program and are growing artistically every week!
I am the Mother of 4 fabulous children and love book sculpting,painting, drawing and photography in my "Spare"time!!
